Cake Batter is a semi-matte liquid lipstick that shows up as a true red regardless of your natural skin and lip tone.
To start — unscrew the cap and remove the flat applicator from the tube. Swipe the product across your bottom lip and then your top lip for an even application (it only takes one dip to achieve the perfect pout)! Use the flat applicator to get inside the corners of your mouth and any parts you might have missed.
For the perfect sexy lip tint: Apply a small amount and rub it onto your lips with your finger!

I don't know how I found this product but I needed a warm red for my color season. Turns out I was wearing a cool red. Pound Cake came through with a vibrant and moisturizing formula that is just perfect. Also has a nice flavor!
Got the shades, Gingerbread, and Strawberry (as picked from the Lip Quiz!), and they were not kidding about longevity. The application went on like a dream, and unlike most brands, it does not emphasize lines, does not feel heavy, and most of all, it did not make my lips feel dry! As for eating, drinking, and kssing, it does transfer a bit, but it still looked freshly applied! The color does fade throughout the day, but I love how it doesn't feather and bleed out. Even better that you don't have to worry about re-applying!
The only downside is that it does take a bit to dry, but once it's set, it's not going anywhere! For those concerned about taking it off, use an oil-based cleanser, and you should be okey ❤️
