Cake Batter is a semi-matte liquid lipstick that shows up as a true red regardless of your natural skin and lip tone.
To start — unscrew the cap and remove the flat applicator from the tube. Swipe the product across your bottom lip and then your top lip for an even application (it only takes one dip to achieve the perfect pout)! Use the flat applicator to get inside the corners of your mouth and any parts you might have missed.
For the perfect sexy lip tint: Apply a small amount and rub it onto your lips with your finger!

I purchased maraschino, strawberry and red velvet… red velvet and strawberry are lovely however the maraschino had a thicker pasty drier consistency and does not go on or wear as well as the other two. Either way I just purchased the browns and two more reds as I love the brand!
Honestly, the formula feels sooo good and lasted throughout my entire date the other night. It smudges, but that’s what a good lipstick does (and I don’t see anywhere that says it’s smudge-proof). The color is so flattering though, I kept getting compliments on it. 10/10
The product was kind of dried out and wasn't easy to apply. It also felt strange on the lips. It felt like rubber.
The color and the smell were the only thing I liked about it. The application process was not great.
