A unique shade of yellow, derived from 100% natural colorant that neutralizes the appearance of purplish-brown lip liners, dark spots, freckles and smoker’s lips. It is also made to shine brighter on darker skin than your typical clear glasses.
What Does Cake Theory Do?

This cushion-y lip oil evens lip tones by using color theory, and is built with three actives to hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier with each wear.

How to Apply

To start–twist off the cap and remove the applicator from the tube. Take the wand and swipe the product across your top and bottom lip. Apply as many or little layers as you need. Allow oil to absorb into the lips on its own. Can be used multiple times, throughout the day, everyday.

Yes…kinda! Our Melted Butter has 100% natural colorant thanks to the achiote seeds that gives this shade its yellowish color. While Browning has a little bit of pigment in it, both shades are meant to just enhance your natural lip tone, not cover it.
No! We went through multiple trials to ensure this product was free from stick.
It feels like a slightly thick, cushiony, and smooth texture on the lips!
Why not both?! But, if you’re only interested in choosing one, know that Melted Butter is great for freckles, smoker’s lips, and brown lip linings. Browning is great for folks with two-toned lips, fordyce, and pink lips.
No! There are no tingling or stinging plumping agents in this formula.

    Quality at its best!

    I love all of Pound Cake products but this butter is a step up! It’s nice to have a little something extra that you can play with!

    Not only is it moisturizing and good enough all on its own but plays well with the lipsticks!

    Good job Pound Cake!

    Amazing

    I will say … I have tried almost ALLL lip oils. Including the “favorites” like Dior and Clarins …. THIS takes the cake. Not only does it smell good it lasts forever on my lips and literally makes them look soooo full and juicy. I need more colors ASAP. And maybe some lip peptide treatments too ! In the picture I have on Browning

    Luxurious!

    This feels more soothing and amazing than any lip balm I have ever used. I wish it had a little more color in it for those of us with lighter and more unevenly toned lips.
